Monday morning the DRS warehouse seems empty. The big vehicles are on their way to Seattle. This morning we said good bye to DRS volunteers, Bill and Mary Dracht who are driving a pickup and a travel trailer for the Sea to Sea staff. In the bed of the pickup there is a satellite dish mounted which will give cell phone reception and Internet capabilities to the participants. This week will see most cyclists traveling out west either by car, train, or air getting ready to meet up for orientation on Saturday. There will be a celebration send-off on Sunday and departure early Monday morning following the dipping of the tires in the Pacific. A week from today the adventure begins!
