Leaving Illinois today for Chesterton, IN
It is well after my bedtime. It is almost 11:00. I am staying at the parents of Kyle Stob in Palos Heights. What a day! My bicycle broke down twice. I got picked up and taken to a bike shop. We rode into Chicago today from Woodstock. There was 40 miles on a bicycle path (Fox River Trail) and another 40 on the metro road system. It was frightening.
We had a great program at Trinity College. They did a terrific time of hosting us. Wow! More on all of this later. Tomorrow we head off to Chesterton, Indiana, another state down. I could write so much more but it will have to wait. Thank you God for your protection, for providing angels who hijacked me to their home, and for a family that loves and supports me. This adventure will continue for a long time. Bless each of you for your prayers of support. Lou
